071211 Taieri Gorge Train Trip - Pukerangi

Our day starts in Dunedin's Historic Train Station
 Flowers are blooming

The trains are restored to their formal glory, and...
 runs on a diesel engine.

Horses are a common sight in the countryside
Really really noisy on the steel track and fast too!
You've got to be there to witness the nature.
Feels like an episode of NZ's version of the wild west.

The valleys and hills are covered by yellow vegetation (can't remember what the name was)

Another typical NZ view, BAAAA!!
Those who were there before us.

And that concludes the trip. You gotta be there to see it for yourself :)
